The idea

The idea behind House of Horses is simple: somewhere small and characterful to stay in the Naivasha countryside, where the property itself — the horses, the gardens, the light — is the reason to come.

The horses & stables

The stables give the property its name and its personality. Guests are welcome around the yard, whether or not horses are the reason they came.

The gardens & grounds

Mature planting, trees and open space surround the house, with shaded corners and views out to the paddocks and countryside beyond.

How we like to host

Relaxed rather than formal. Breakfast, good beds, somewhere comfortable to sit, and space to be left alone when that is what you came for.
